What happens when we die? We know our physical bodies decompose. Where does our soul go?
Where do our memories and our feelings go, do they decompose along with our bodies?
When you see a dead body, it doesn’t look like the person you once knew. Something is missing, the body no longer has a soul. It is a lifeless shell that is no longer of any use.
Anita Moorjhani and Eben Alexander both had near death experiences and both experienced another plane of existence.
Anita Moorjhani was dying of cancer and on her death bed, when she went into a coma and experienced the afterlife, she met up with her father once again and wanted to stay with him, she said she felt herself in a state of unconditional love and it was blissful and she didn’t want to return to her cancer ridden body, she wanted to stay where she was forever and ever.
Her father told her it was not her time yet. She decided to come back and in a few days the cancer was leaving her body. Her Doctors were astounded. She eventually made a full recovery.
She could remember many things that happened while she was in the coma, conversations that were held in other rooms far from her range of hearing. This experience changed her life forever.
Dr Eben Alexander did not believe in near death experiences until he experienced one for himself. He is a highly trained neurosurgeon, he knew near death experiences felt real but thought they were simply fantasies produced by brains under extreme stress.
Dr Alexander’s own brain was attacked by a rare illness, affecting the part of the brain that controls thoughts and emotions, he lay in a coma for 7 days.
While his body lay in a coma, he journeyed beyond this world and encountered an angelic being who guided him into the deepest realms of existence. Dr Alexander now believes that death is not the end of personal existence but only a transition.
We are told that there are many dimensions. We are at present in the 3rd dimension. Is death just moving from one dimension to another?
What are our souls?
Are they the universe trying to make sense of itself?
Do our souls keep experiencing different lives so that the universe can learn?
On a 3rd dimensional planet we need a body a physical form to experience reality. In the higher dimensions maybe we do not need a physical form. Maybe our souls can create whatever form they want to take, maybe they are just light.
If there is a heaven and a hell, where is it?
Why are there so many different dimensions or planes of existence? What are they all for? Do we move up the dimensions if our souls learn from our life experience? Do we move up the dimensions if we become more loving, peaceful, kind and spiritual and if we become more hateful, angry, dissatisfied and cruel, do we move downwards?
Is life a huge learning curve for us all? Are we here to learn to expand our minds and in turn expand the universe? Are we here to learn to become more understanding of others?
Each person has their own individual life experiences, each individual person learns to deal with these experiences in either a positive or a negative way. They can choose which path they take, they can become hard and uncaring or kind and loving. It depends how their souls view the experience.
Maybe after too many traumatic experiences it is hard to stay positive and yet some souls who have had awful lives can stay positive and some souls who have had privileged lives can become negative.
Is it in our physical form or our spiritual nature? Are some souls older and wiser than others? Are young souls more negative? Maybe it has nothing to do with the age of the soul.
Maybe it is just the way it is. It’s just our particular outlook, maybe the universe needs to look at existence from all sides and all view points to make sense of it all?
We are all on a journey, we all walk along the path, some of us are further in front and some of us are farther behind. Some of us take diversions and lose our way for a while. Eventually we are all going to end up at the same place, It may take longer for some.
Will we be in heaven or a higher dimension, wherever we are, I am sure our souls go on, they go on learning, growing. It doesn’t make sense to me to go through this life and learn so much, to experience so much, for it to end in the death of the soul.
The universe is infinite it is amazing, our earth, our solar system, our galaxy, it is such a bizarre and marvelous reality, I believe that there are even more wonders and experiences waiting for us when our physical form dies and our souls carry on their journey.
We are all unique, special in our own way, we all view life from different angles, we all have different feelings, responses, we all deal with life in our own way. Learning all the time.
We learn so much in our short lifetimes, it would be such a waste if all this knowledge decomposed along with our bodies.
There is one thing that is certain, one day we will all find out what happens, until that day we can only wonder at our existence.
About the author: Julie Alexander – I realized what was really going on in the world in 2013. Since then I have been trying to make sense of it all and help others along the way. I am still learning more each day.
